Motorcycle helmets save countless lives each year, but they pose many challenges to emergency personnel when responding to an accident scene. The head and neck must not be moved, in case there is a spinal injury, yet it is nearly impossible to do that when taking a traditional helmet off. Well, meet the Voztec helmet.
This innovative helmet offers rear access by just releasing two clips and one pin. The back detaches, allowing the front to be slid off.
The Voztec also provides more protection for the temples and jaw than other helmets. They also have a smooth, rounder exterior, offering less chance for snagging. This means it is less likely to get caught on an obstacle in an accident.
Development of the Voztec began in 2005, and it is currently a fifth generation model.
